Problem of duplicate user login to the system from different place at same time ( Limit User Access )

Best way to auto-logout user if they sign into another session

Doing a search here appears there are a few suggestions on how to do the following: If a user is logged into a session and then signs into another session, would like to automatically log out the old/previous session. Is there a generally accepted ‘best’ practice for doing this?
