Hi,

I have an SFC in an inheritable project, I’ve created another project which inherits from that project and successfully start the SFC. I see the SFC running from the web portal plus I can set tags etc. etc. and have everything behave as expected.

The problem is I can’t monitor the SFC. I don’t see any instance running in the “base” project, understandable, but I don’t see an instance running in the main project either in order to monitor.

Clarification: Not able to monitor from the designer.

Thanks,

Rick

How are you starting the SFC in the child project?

Hi Kevin,

I’ve started the SFC through the script console and Gateway Evens from the child project.

Thanks,

Rick

One more thing that a co-worker had me try … if I drop an chart control on a Vision form and run the project, I do see the list of charts from the control. The problem is from the derived project (child project), and within the designer, not being able to see the chart from a design perspective. Hope that makes sense…

I’m not certain but maybe part of the issue is a restriction on what can be seen in the designer because of the inheritance. From the designer I can only see the SFC exists (in the list), but attempting to open and view in design mode, even in a view-only mode, doesn’t seem permitted.

Thanks,

Rick
