# 8.3 Form Component - Searchable Dropdown

We are currently developing some updated forms inside of 8.3 and noticed that the dropdowns widget is not searchable. Will this be something that is changed/updated in the near future?

So what is the actual solution David? Your response just repeats Samuels question. At least thats the only thing it shows me.
