So I upgraded to Ignition 8.3. Gateway webserver is a lot more complex to navigate than 8.1… i guess I just need to pass the learning curve. But I did saw that there is no OPC-UA Quick Client. even when it is pretty simple and rudimentary, it is more than enough to troubleshoot new connections. Do we know when it is coming back (if so) into 8.3? or what alternatives do we have to test? Tag Browsing on 8.1 to actual values was kind of a pain, but you could also see values there, i have not seen that in 8.3, I can see the Tag Providers but cannot browse/navigate into them as in 8.1. Maybe you can navigate but have to setup something different in OPC permissions? right now I have AuthenticatedUser to have all permissions… ---

The OPC Quick Client should come back in Ignition 8.3.1 or 8.3.2. The closest alternative is the `View > OPC Browser` panel in the Designer, but it really only let's you browse. To read or write you have to drag the tag into the Tag Browser. ---

I have installed 8.3.1 and still not OPC Quick Client not available. I also would like to see the OPC Quick Client. Hopefully 8.3.2. ---

They are working on it, but it may not be ready in time for the 8.3.2 cutoff. We'll see. ---

I have updated to 8.3.3, I saw that users with **Gateway Read Permissions** can not access to the Quick Client. ---

The quick client has the ability to write. 🤷‍♂️ Consider making a formal feature request (at the [Ideas Portal](https://ideas.inductiveautomation.com/)) for IA to factor out the write operations to make a read-only quick client possible.
