Hi there,

is there a way to access the SVG elements from a embedded image?
I know its possible via the Save & Link import but cannot find it for the other option.
Thanks in advance!

Greetings, Louis

An embeded image or an embeded SVG?

If you mean an embeded SVG then the answer is yes.

Here's and example:

This was a fun exercise and I learned something good along the way. I will give you a disclaimer though, other than a rough idea of what an Azimuth Propeller is, I don't know much else. So for instance, I have no idea what the yellow triangle is supposed to indicate and so I didn't add it. I made some assumptions on how I think the re…

Thanks for the quick answer.

My plan is to save different SVG's via the Ignition Image Management. If I want to display one of them, I would create an Image Component and select the path to the SVG. If I do so I cannot access the same Props as if I imported the SVG via the Save & Link option.

Hope that clarifies my question.

There is no way to modify properties of an Image in the Image Component, it is referencing the file. You're better off embedding the SVG's if you need to make dynamic changes to the SVG at runtime.
