# Add a button on ViewCanvas component

Hello, I’am developping Perspective Booking App & Schedule. I donwload an app that I fouded on web site “ignition exchange”.

I want to know if it is possible add a component on ViewCanvas.  
I need to add a report as soon as the task has been carried out by a maintenance operator for example.

A View Canvas is a canvas for… Views. But you could make a View which does nothing more than contain a button and then add that View to the canvas.

I search but I can’t found how I can  
add View on View Canvas.

Hover over `props.instances`, and click the `+` icon.

Once the new entry is added, you’ll need to specify path to the (Button) View you’ve created in the `viewPath` property.
