# Add data to historian

Hello,  
I created some new tags and saved their data using the historian.  
and when I try to see the data it works just fine.  
I have data of this tags before I created them in the ignition - in access  
and I want to add this data to the historian,  
How can I do that?

I found the tag id’s in the “sqlth\_te”  
and inserted the data to the right partition of the month(e.g : sqlt\_data\_1\_2020\_01) with the right timestamp,  
but I cant see the data using the historian.

Could you help please?

Consider re-doing your data import using the (only) supported method: [system.tag.storeTagHistory()](https://docs.inductiveautomation.com/display/DOC79/system.tag.storeTagHistory).
