Full Ignition doesn't have a supported folder operation for its webserver. Why would you think Maker would be a candidate for such?

(In either, you can use the install location's webserver folder to host static files, with caveats, and no support.)

The supported solution for both Maker and Full is to place a reverse proxy in front of Ignition and let that proxy serve up your files.

That seemed to be Nas' work. Even if ignition supports such a function, it will not be better than http.server.
