Hi all,

I noticed an odd issue with the Alarm Status table. I was looking for a specific alarm in the **Alarm Status table** and found that it was nowhere to be found despite having no filters applied. However, when I checked the **Alarm Journal** I was able to find the alarm event.

Below are screenshots of each component. **Alarm Status table on the left** and **Alarm Journal on the right.**

The alarm shows ACTIVE and ACK events in the Alarm Journal, but it never appeared in the Alarm Status table.

I confirmed that no filters were applied on the Alarm Status table. I also verified that the alarm event exists in the alarm\_events\_data table, which I believe is where the Alarm Journal pulls its data from.

What I am unsure about is where the Alarm Status table pulls its data from, or where I can check to confirm whether the alarm was present in the gateway’s live alarm state.

Has anyone encountered this behavior before or have suggestions on what might cause this?

Hey Dustin,

I think you are expecting too much from the Alarm Status Table component. The Alarm Status Table doesn’t have a historical aspect to it - it is only for interacting with active alarms. The Alarm Journal, on the other hand, does maintain a historical record of alarm interactions.

The second piece that I think you are encountering is the “Live Event Limit” (default 5) for alarms. The old alarms are automatically acknowledged by the system when new ones get generated.
