I’m upgrading a customer’s system from FactoryPMI/SQL 3.3.3 to Ignition7.6.6. We used to get alarm counts for each plant area by querying the point\_path field in the alarm log, but that has all changed with Ignition 7.6.6.

How would I go about getting a count of the current acknowledged and unacknowledged alarms in each area? Do I use the system.alarm.queryStatus function or the system.alert.queryAlertStatus function? What’s the difference between an alarm and an alert?

I think system.alert.queryAlertStatus() is before 7.6

You should use system.alarm.\* for 7.6+, but I could be wrong.
