# Alarm Journal Showing Events with eventtype of 4 and 5 instead of 0 and 1

When events are listed as eventtype 4 or 5 they do not populate in the alarm\_event\_data and only the alarm\_events table.

It looks like those alarm events happened when you disabled then enabled that alarm. Since enabling the alarm didn't **trigger** / **activate** the alarm, there was nothing to add to the `alarm_event_data` table.

On this documentation page, it shows what the different `eventtype` values mean:

> 1. Active
> 2. Clear
> 3. Acknowledgement
> 4. N/A
> 5. **An alarm was enabled**
> 6. **An alarm was disabled**

Thank you for the Quick Response Brandon ! Ok So I guess I need to keep investigating why the initial alarms never made it into the journal. The weird thing is the Alarms were triggered and were displaying in the Active alarm viewer but never made it to the journal.
