I have created a pipeline and when tested via the gateway the emails are sent our correctly. I’ve created a simple bool tag to alarm when the value is greater than one. Under the notification section I’ve selected the active pipeline that tested correctly. When the tag is set to true the emails are not sent, I see no errors in the console. Are there any other ways to trace the path of the alarm?

Can you post a screenshot of the alarm configuration on the tag. Also, is the alarm pipeline set to test mode?
