I have a Issue, regarding a earlier fixed problem.

> [@\[BUG-9371\] Allen-Bradley Logix Driver - Diagnostic Tags Bad Quality?](https://forum.inductiveautomation.com/t/bug-9371-allen-bradley-logix-driver-diagnostic-tags-bad-quality/18669):

> Hey folks, We’ve got several L306-ER (v30) devices running on the AB Logix driver and they have been for ~a year. Yesterday I pulled the [Diagnostics] folder for each device into a tags folder and today when I came back, they are all Bad Quality. Pulling the folder out of the OPC-UA server and dropping them into the tags window will refresh the data and they will go good quality again. I expect that given time, they will return to bad quality? The other tags I am polling from these devices do…

I have issue that after losing connection to the PLC (due to downloading for example) Ignition does not find a way to reconnect itself to the plc.

It works if i disable and enable the device in the gateway, but shouldn't this just reconnect by itself?

Have you turned off the device's autobrowse? Turning this off improves performance overall by ignoring small changes in the PLC, but breaks comms if you make major changes.

Choose.

(If that's not it, you may need support to look at your situation.)

Unfortunately, this was already enabled.

IIRC, there are AB firmware versions that don't reliably report changes on download and/or small changes. You probably need IA support to help you check that.

(My alternate driver deals with this differently, so I haven't paid much attention.)
