# Are diagnostic logs shown on portal part of Gateway logs?

I have configured logback.xml using FileAppender to publish logs in .log file. However I'm unable to view the diagnostic logs shown on the portal in the file. I see there is custom appender ignition has to push logs in SQLite db.

Can you share your `data/logback.xml` configuration? Also, try not to create duplicate posts--it makes it harder for those who are replying to try and help.
