We are pilot testing an Ask AI widget on the lower right-hand corner of the [User Manual](https://www.docs.inductiveautomation.com/). This widget is powered by **[Kapa.ai](https://www.kapa.ai/)** and has access to solved Forum threads, Help Center KBAs, the SDK Guide, and the selected User Manual version.

Clicking on the Ask AI widget will open the Ask Inductive Automation AI popup. The widget also includes an Attach files option to provide greater context to questions if desired. Provided responses will link to the direct sources where information was pulled, and a list of sources will be included at the bottom of each answer.

Using the thumbs up and down icons to rate solutions will be extremely valuable to our team. This feedback will be referenced as we continue to test usefulness, improve published User Manual content, and refine widget replies.

Nice! I used to use kappa for month with [Ignition Docs\<!-- --\> AI | kapa.ai](https://demo.kapa.ai/widget/inductiveautomation).

Glad you add it to your toolsets

Using the User Manual link at the top of the forums and trying to use the AI is broken due to CORS. I wonder if maybe the User Manual link just needs the `www.` removed:

```python
Access to fetch at 'https://proxy.kapa.ai/proxy/query/v2/chat/stream/' from origin 'https://www.docs.inductiveautomation.com' has been blocked by CORS policy: No 'Access-Control-Allow-Origin' header is present on the requested resource.
You probably ran into my same issue. If your URL is prefixed with `www.` just remove it and it will probably work.
So, I know this is going to get asked, but is use of this going to be allowed for core certifications? Or will it be ~~poisoned~~ trained to look out for those questions and avoid answering them?
This specific use of AI is designed to help you quickly get answers about the functionality of Ignition. We are watching various uses of AI to see how they mature and what that means for our certification tests but we have no plans to explicitly remove information that might be useful to people. Per the test instructions, use of ~~IA~~ AI on the test is prohibited.
Also, it's very hard to type AI correctly after years of typing IA...
We are thinking this is because the AI widget was accessed before the previously mentioned browser verification error was fixed. A cache reset should fix it.
