Hello All:
I’m new to Ignition software. I have a tag which gets updated when the device status is changed (run, stop and delay). I would like to use multi state indicator to display the device status. How do I bind the tag to multi state indicator so that it gets the value from the tag and changes its color accordingly?

Thank you very much in advance,
Shwetha.

Just drag the tag onto the indicator.

Thank you!. That was easy. I am going through user manual. It does not explain. Could you please let me know where can I find simple info like this?

Also, I’ve written a gateway timer script. But cannot see it on gateway. Could you please let me know what could be the problem?

Thanks,
Shwetha.

I’m going to recommend to take a look at the stuff over at [Inductive Univeristy](https://www.inductiveuniversity.com/courses/all). Lots of videos and training, and it’s free! 🙂
