I’m currently forming an overall picture of how developing Ignition applications with Java (which apparently is through ModuleSDK) should be done.

The biggest missing piece is how the module signing works. I understood that it should be automatic so I’m expecting something that would work as an Ant build step. When will it be available?

Thanks!

Yes, we’ll be publishing a signing web service soon, and doing whatever seems best to make it callable from Ant. Unfortunately, until it’s ready, you’ll have to send your unsigned (but compiled) modules to [developers@inductiveautomation.com](mailto:developers@inductiveautomation.com) for signing.

We’re going to try to make a lot of progress on the web portion of the module sdk (that is, signing and license managment) by the end of June.

Regards,
