# Automation Professionals v8.3 Modules

Automation Professionals is pleased to announce the availability of several of its 3rd party modules as BETAs for the v8.3 beta, hosted here:

The following modules are currently available:

- EtherNet/IP Class1 Communications Suite
- Advanced Modbus Driver
- Image and Video Streaming Driver
- Integration Toolkit
- Blob Server
- NoteChart

Known Issues:

- All modules are currently incompatible with v8.3 module **update** procedure, apparently due to my module file names including version and build information. You must **uninstall** any module to be updated, **restart** , then install the new version.
- No gateway WebUI has been implemented yet for any of these. Migration via v8.1 gateway backup restoration into v8.3 is the simplest way to configure the drivers that need a complex configuration.
- If not migrating, edit/place a config file in `.../data/config/resources/core/com.inductiveautomation.opcua/device/{devName}/`. File name must be `Config.xml` for EtherNet/IP Host devices, and `nodes.csv` for Modbus devices. Use the same formats as used in v8.1 import/export.

This post will be updated as more modules are released and issues resolved.

Edit 2025-08-01: Updated EtherNet/IP driver with some designer RPC fixes, so the designer tools for tag/type/code/assembly/scanner editing work. (Missing Protobuf types, mostly.)

Edit 2025-09-29: Updated EtherNet/IP driver with bugfixes from latest v8.1 beta. Verified all module compilation against v8.3.0 release. Image Streamer, Integration Toolkit, and Blob Server are now production grade--separate notices in their own topics to follow.

Edit 2025-11-17: Updated EtherNet/IP driver with new React Configuration UI. The config import functions perform syntax verification in all cases. I have some 8.1 to 8.3 migration QA to redo, but this beta may be declared a release candidate later this week.

Edit 2025-12-18: Added a beta of my NoteChart Module. Only passed light QA so far.
