When I open a existing view to inspect one or more components and close the view again, the viewname is displayed in italics, like if it is modified.

Is it posible to get a popup question while closing the view if it has to be saved?

Now it looks like if I have modified a bunch of views but instead I only looked at some parameters.

One way you can close the view without it being displayed in italics is by right clicking the view name at the bottom and clicking "Close & Revert".

If I am just looking through a lot of views and searching/looking for something and haven't made any changes I click on "File" then "Open" and re-open the project. I do this so that all the views don't have the italics and look like they have been modified.
