# Bad\_ServiceUnsupported Error

Hi All,

Error log is being flooded with the following:

`ResendData for subscriptionId=577 failed: status=Bad_ServiceUnsupported, description=The server does not support the requested service.`

`org.eclipse.milo.opcua.stack.core.UaServiceFaultException: status=Bad_ServiceUnsupported, description=The server does not support the requested service.`  
`at org.eclipse.milo.opcua.stack.client.UaStackClient.lambda$deliverResponse$5(UaStackClient.java:337)`  
`at org.eclipse.milo.opcua.stack.core.util.ExecutionQueue$Task.run(ExecutionQueue.java:119)`  
`at java.base/java.util.concurrent.ThreadPoolExecutor.runWorker(Unknown Source)`  
`at java.base/java.util.concurrent.ThreadPoolExecutor$Worker.run(Unknown Source)`  
`at java.base/java.lang.Thread.run(Unknown Source)`

And the related OPC server connection appears to be in a connect/disconnect loop. Can anyone shed some light on what this error might mean? As always, any help/info is greatly appreciated. \*\*_v8.1.32_\*\*

It means Ignition tried to call the ResendData method to refresh/renew values for a Subscription but the server is reporting that it's not supported.

If you're having connectivity issues you might want to open a support ticket and let them take a look, see your logs, maybe change some log levels, etc.

Ok. Thanks, Kevin. The errors actually stopped later in the day without any intervention. I suspect it had something to do with work being performed by a different group within my Org. 'Communication issues' presenting as 'technology issues' 😃
