It's pretty simple to scipt. Just get [the title](https://www.jfree.org/jfreechart/api/javadoc/org/jfree/chart/title/TextTitle.html) directly from the chart, and set the paint to whatever color you want.  
**Here is an example script:**

```auto
from java.awt import Color
chartComponent = system.gui.getParentWindow(event).getComponentForPath('Root Container.Bar Chart')
chart = chartComponent.chart
title = chart.title
title.setPaint(Color.BLUE)

```
