# Bar labels on a chart in report

Hello,  
i have a bar chart in which scripting has been enabled to change the bar color based on the value (barRenderer). Does anyone know how to make the bar label visible through the script?

renderer = chart.getPlot().getRenderer()

renderer.setBaseItemLabelGenerator(StandardCategoryItemLabelGenerator())
renderer.setBaseItemLabelsVisible(True)
