Good Morning.

I would like to update Ignition from version **8.0.14 to 8.1.9**.

Which of these options is the best?

a) Make backup, uninstall Ignition 8.0.14, install 8.19 and recover backup.

b) Simply install 8.1.9 over 8.0.14

Kind regards.

c) make backup, install 8.1.9 over 8.0.14.

Going from 8.0 to 8.1 should be pretty painless. The backup is in case-- for whatever reason-- you need to go back to 8.0.x

You can, but IMO, it's not really necessary. 7.9 to 8.0, though was a different story. 😆
