# BrowserEngine crashed when opening Designer

Hi!

For some reason when I open the designer this pop-up shows:

No message in logs. The Ignition services was restarted before opening the designer.

Any idea?

Check your **designer** logs/the "output console" under tools, because I'm positive there will be errors there.

There were errors.

W **e have a webbroser module for version .44 and we had a gateway in version .38.**

I downgraded the version of the module and everything worked perfectly 🙂
