I’ve been having some sporadic “crashes” - for lack of a better word - of a Perspective view that I’m playing around with. There isn’t much in it, just an XY Chart. So far it has only happened when I’m not actively using the Designer. This time I had the Designer open in the background while working in some other programs (Chrome, Excel, etc), and then go back to find the View unresponsive/showing a white screen. This most recent one occurred somewhere in the 15-45 minute range from the time I opened the view. Doesn’t allow me to add components to it. Only recourse is to close the View - losing any unsaved work - and re-open it. Below is what is printed in the Designer Console and a screenshot of the unresponsive view in the Designer (can provide a gateway backup if that will help).

The Gateway and Designer are running on the same machine. 2015 MacBook Pro, 16 GB Ram, MacOSX Sierra 10.12.6. Ignition 8.0.0-beta0 (b2018110513).

Any chance your laptop is going to sleep during this time?

Nope, it is set to never sleep and I was using it the entire time (from when I opened the view to when I went back to the Designer to see it had “crashed”).

It looks like you’re momentarily losing connection to the gateway. This is a known issue in the perspective designer that we’re working on.

Sounds good. Let me know if there is anything else I can provide or test.

Also, just in case it helps - I’m guessing it’s old news though. I closed the unresponsive view and this error popped up (two of them actually, identical errors):

```auto
This issue was fixed in the build that was uploaded on 12/1. Please let us know if you continue to see this behavior after upgrading.
Hello, my perspective components show me an error of "cannot read property name of undefined " after I upgrading the ignition to 8.0.16. I have not change anything in that page. So would that be a problem that I can fix?
`cannot read property name of undefined` is usually encountered when a script (or binding transform) is attempting to reference an object or value which doe snot exist. This can occur if you rename components, restructure a View by altering the path of a component (by nesting within containers), or if you have Tag bindings and that tag has been renamed. It could also happen if a script uses something like a database query and that query no longer returns results because of db structure changes or a faulted connection.
There are way too many causes for us to help you with the error unless you can give us more context. If you can provide the full error from the Designer console, or if you could supply the view.json file, we could help a bit more.
