# \[Bug-11134\] Uploading Images Error

1. The behavior you unexpectedly encountered - Error Writing to server / Connection to gateway (Two seperate error notifications) when uploading a .jpg to image Management.

2. The behavior you were expecting to see - Upload to file

3. A list of the steps you took that exposed the issue - including your starting point.

- Drag and drop image into window  
AND
- Use upload button

1. A list of helpful information about the situation you were in, such as:

- The Ignition version number (e.g. 8.0.0-beta1)

Thank you for clarifying that you attempted to both drag-and-drop as well as upload the image. The internal ticket does specify that the issue occurs during both processes, but it seems we weren’t very clear in that regard.

Any update on this error? I still see this issue while uploading images.

No, sorry. It’s currently being investigated and worked on, but there is no ETA on when a fix will be put out.

This issue was fixed in the build that was uploaded on 12/20. Please let us know if you continue to see this behavior after upgrading.
