# \[Bug-11998\] Perspective - Can still place components while in preview mode

Not necessarily a high priority issue, but it did throw me for a loop for a few minutes trying to figure out why everything was greyed out while building a new view. The Components panel still lets you drag and drop components onto the view even though the window is currently in Preview mode.
