I tested the new security features introduced in Ignition 8. They seem very powerful.
I created an Ignition Identity Provider, based on the “default” user source, where two roles have been set (Administrator and TestRole).

I created a Security Level, called “RecipeEditor”, under the “Authenticated” tree item:

Then, I set a Security Level Rule in my Identity Provider for the security level “RecipeEditor”:

In a Perspective web page, I showed the “session.props.securityLevels” property, but the security level “RecipeEditor” (that should be granted by the security level rule) did not appear for my user!

Where am I wrong?
Thank you for your help.
Andrea

Hi -

Our QA team found that same bug a few days back and the fix got merged in last night. Could you update to the latest nightly build and let us know if that fixes the issue?

Actually, looks like last night’s build did not go through. I’ll post here when it gets pushed through.

Hi -

Looks like last night’s build went through. Could you download it and let me know if you are still seeing the issue?
