# \[Bug-12699\] System.device library function help text missing in Designer

Good morning,  
the “system.device” library does not appear inside the perspective scope.  
I get the following error:  
“AttributeError: ‘com.inductiveautomation.ignition.common.script.Imm’ object has no attribute ‘device’”.

This actually seems to be a bug instead of a feature - that library should be visible in the Designer for both Perspective and Vision projects, but it doesn’t show for either. I’ve opened an internal ticket for the issue.

In the current build **b2019031702** the library has been included again.
