# \[BUG - 13483\] Perspective Date Time input displays error for non-english locales

The datetime input component is not usable for non english locales ( `8.0.0-rc1 (b2019040123)`)

- select an non-english localein the locale property of the DateTime Input (e.g. `de`)
- start preview mode
- click the datetime input  
–\> the component shows ‘date-time-input error’ on red background

Console output:

```auto
16:28:08.880 [Browser Events Thread] INFO Perspective.Designer.BrowserConsole - TypeError: Cannot read property 'firstDayOfWeek' of null
16:28:08.881 [Browser Events Thread] INFO Perspective.Designer.BrowserConsole - ui.ErrorBoundary: Component error caught in error boundary: undefined

```

This issue was fixed in the build that was uploaded on 4/15.
