# \[BUG-15621\] Expression corrupted after updating to 8.0.6

Good morning.

I have updated Ignition **7.9.9** to Ignition **8.0.6** and an _ **expression** _ has been **corrupted** as follows:  
First, in the comments, the **blanks** between two quotes characters are removed.  
The “**concat ()**” function appears in a “magic” way without any meaning.

For posterity, the 8.0.8 nightly build available today contains a change that should prevent the issue described in this thread on upgrade.
