# \[Bug-16856\] Perspective Dropdown (8.0.15): Discrepancy in position of displayed selected options

After upgrading to 8.0.15, the text is now aligned to the right and I can’t force the alignment to the left.

Did this happen to anyone else?

Yes it happens for me too. When we bind the value property it appears correct alignment, where as when we select from dropdown, it is aligned to right.

Sorry to say! But wondering how this could have passed QC test before release!  
We can wait for some of the new features, but widely used basic components have to be in good shape on every release.  
Else just for this simple bug, we couldn’t upgrade to latest version since 8.0.12 and unable to use some major long awaited new features.  
I’m waiting to upgrade to make use of “system.util.audit”, but bugs on dropdown component keeps me waiting so long. 🤨
