# \[Bug-613\]8.1.0 RC1 Renaming perspective components does not refresh in Project Browser

Create a component in Perspective. Rename in from the project browser. The name does not get updated unless you close the view and reopen.

This works as expected in 8.0.15

Well… that’s embarrassing. We’ll fix it for stable.

Perhaps this was introduced when fixing this bug? [[BUG] Perspective View tree collapses on component rename](http://forum.inductiveautomation.com/t/bug-perspective-view-tree-collapses-on-component-rename/28546)

FYI it does update when you make changes that would cause the tree to update, e.g. adding new components or pasting components in
