# \[BUG-788\] Security Level selections are reset to NONE, when editing a Views Security Level

Security Level selections are reset to NONE, when Configuring View Permissions

This makes it impossible to work with, since you have to know what security level a View has, before you want to configure view permissions.

To reproduce:  
Add some security level to a view via “Configure view permissions”  
Apply and close the window.

Open “Configure view permissions” on the same view again.  
Now all selections have reset.

This has been fixed for 8.1.0 final. For what it’s worth, it was only an issue in the UI - the settings that you configured _were_ being applied to the view correctly.
