# Bug v8.0.10rc1: Datetime Input doesn't move in designer

Hi  
when i put a DateTime component in a view in designer v8.0.10 rc1, moving it around doesn’t move the component. Even typing new value in x & y property doesn’t work.  
The only way to force component preposition is click some where in view.

This sounds like an issue we found early on and have since resolved (I’ve confirmed movement was part of the issue I’m thinking of). The fix should be in both the nightly builds as well as the 8.0.10 stable release.
