# Built In Texts Translation

Hi everyone,

is there a way to export all the system texts used in Ignition?  
Our goal is to include the built-in texts in the Translation Manager as well, so that we can provide a consistent translation for both custom and default texts across the project. Any hints or best practices on how to achieve this would be greatly appreciated.

We don’t have a good way to export every piece of text you could possible come up with, We do have some [basic export/import functionality](https://docs.inductiveautomation.com/docs/8.1/platform/localization-and-languages/creating-translation-lists#translation-list-import-and-export) that can help with this.

Thank you. But I dont want to export my custom defined texts. I want to export the system texts like

- State
- Priority
- Unacknowledged
- ….

Exactly – that’s the part we don’t currently have a good way to export. It’s something we’ll be looking at for the next major version.
