I've been experimenting with using JGit as a version controll, and backup by manually adding the JGit JARs to an Ignition gateway. This actually worked quite well, though it is a bit limited to the gateway scope, due to file access.

I'm curious—has there been any consideration of bundling JGit with Ignition by default? It seems like it could be a powerful addition for version control and backup management.
