# Bypass prompt to enter name when restoring backup with gwcmd

As the title states I’m looking for a way to bypass the user prompt when attempting to restore a gateway backup using the gwcmd command line tool

If you pass the `-y` or `--promptyes` flag, you won’t be prompted for a gateway name.

For Ignition 7.9.x, the `-y` flag might not be enough to avoid the prompt for gateway name. You can workaround it using the technique shown [on L416 here](https://github.com/thirdgen88/ignition-docker/blob/main/7.9/docker-entrypoint.sh#L416).
