# Calendar week view day event carry over

I am using the week view calendar component and have encountered the following: when scheduling an event in the dataset that begins on a day an ends the next day. i.e. 3rd shift 11PM - 6AM, the scheduling block ends at midnight of the begin day and does not carry over to the next day event end time. Is this how this component should work?

It is supposed to span multiple days however we found a small bug with our day difference calculation. It has been fixed and will be available in the next beta that goes up.
