# Can a project run inside a web browser

Is it possible to launch an Ignition project and run it from inside a web browser? For example, If I was using Internet Explorer and I typed in a hyperlink to an Ignition project, could that project run inside of Internet Explorer?

Yes. You can run a project as a java applet inside a webpage.

it does support an applet mode, but most browsers are starting to shutdown running applets…
