# Can I receive email notification when OPC connection goes on/off line?

Hi, have numerous OPC-UA connections that can go online/offline without notice. Can I receive a notification when a connection goes online?

You would set up an alarm on the system tag for that connection, and connect to an alarm pipeline that has a roster including you.
