# Cannot uninstall Ignition 8.3.3 on Linux machine

Hi, I did a test installation of Ignition 8.3.3 on an Ubuntu 24.04 server. Now I want to uninstall the software and followed the manual [Linux - Install | Ignition User Manual](https://www.docs.inductiveautomation.com/docs/deprecated/installing-and-upgrading-prior-to-8014/linux-install#uninstalling-ignition-on-linux)

./uninstall and Uninstall.run are not working:

Probably some problem in front of the monitor, but I couldn’t find anything helpful so far.

Try running it in the `/usr/local/bin/ignition` with the `./` prefix:

`sudo ./Uninstall.run`
