# Change Carousel views(activePane) from script

Hi

I want to change the Carousel view(active pane) from a script and not use arrow or dots options.  
I try to do it by writing the active pane property and it works but the animation is not working with this method. (The only reason I use Carousel is for the animation.  
Does anyone know how to do it?

I am not exactly sure what you mean by "it works but the animation is not working". Could you post a screen recording?

Hi @Gurjot_Sandhu

I use a button to change activePane of Carousel to change view but the slide animation doesn't work.

Unfortunately not yet. This should be down by IA.  
Mean while you use create your own version of Carousel by embedded views and CSS transition.

Thank you am gonna wait for now and using the dot and slide animation for now.
