Hi all,
Long story, IT doesn't want Ignition server to be in business network, so they moved it to plc network. Ofc, business people can't access to ignition anymore because of policy, to let them access, they will update policy for each of business people. They recommend to use port 80 and 443 instead of 8088 to let business people access without updating policy.

Question here is there anyway to change port to 80 and 443 without affecting ignition? Port forwarding or any option for this?
BR,

If your gateway is running Linux as non-root (recommended), you will need a SystemD override to allow use of privileged ports (under 1024).

Here's one of my recent install command lines (running as root): ./ignition-8.1.38-linux-64-installer.run -- location=/usr/share/ignition user=ignition serviceName=ignition textMode=true Couple notes: I always override the defaults for user, location, and service name. Do as you see fit, but note that what I show are not the defaults. Always put the following in a SystemD override (not in the installed unit file): …
