# Changing existing device drivers from Controllogix to Logix

After upgrading our processors to ver 24 & Logix driver, all Ignition tags were in error.

OPC Item path needs to be changed for every tag a huge P.I.A. for any migration.

Program Scoped tags needed “Program:” added.

Controller needed “Global.” removed

String data types needed .String removed from end.

Ign 7.7.5  
OPC-UA 2.7.5
