Hello !

I have an OPC tag here that tell me the total active power of the lights of a tunnel.

I would like to put the tag in a chart to see the variation of the power but I don’t know how to do it.

Thanks for your help.

I want it in perspective.

1. Configure the historian.
See [Browse the Lesson Library at Inductive University](https://inductiveuniversity.com/courses/tag-historian-in-ignition/8.1).
2. In the tag editor configure the tag history.
 ![Tag history enable](https://us1.discourse-cdn.com/inductiveautomation/original/3X/0/d/0d88925aef63f52af939ce14e31c6ba17b02cbe1.png)
3. Add an XY Chart to the Perspective view.
4. Select the Chart and in the PROPS editor select **dataSources** , **example**. Click in the left margin and add a data binding.
5. Select **Tag History** and continue from there. This is covered in
[Displaying Tag History - Configuring the Historian on Tags](https://inductiveuniversity.com/video/displaying-tag-history).

I’m not able to make it work with the XY charts, like when I add a data binding in the PROPS editor “dataSources, example” my chart disappears.

But with the power chart it works and I can also have several datas in it.

You need to go down through the various plots and tell them which fields in the example datasource they’re supposed to be plotting. There are a huge number of parameters to enable customisation so it takes a while to figure out where to look.
