This is probably something only Chi could help with but posting here in case they aren’t immediately available and others have some comments to add.

Using generic TCP Driver module that Chi created, is the TCP Server driver supposed to allow a writeback message? I thought it did, and I have a tag that shows I was able to set this up once, but I can’t recreate that tag. When I go back to re-create a new TCP server it’s not showing that Writeback Message tab on any of the server definitions.

Tag that shows Writeback for a server definition and is valid

Side by side of a server config page and a client config page. I know they can be different; the image is for a reference of what I’m seeing on the Server config to point out I’m missing that Writeback Message tab (assuming it should be there).

Thanks in advance!

Is there a device list configured? Writeback is not possible when ‘accept all connections’ is checked.

At the time of my question, there was not. That was definitely something I overlooked in your documentation. I probably had a device configured within the device list at one point and then removed it during testing. Thank you for the reply and clarification!
