# Client not opening after java run

i have always encountered that the client does not startup after the java popup finished. No error window prompt out and no Ignition client starting up after waiting for long period. Anyone encountered this before? Any idea what causes it?

There may be a launcherror.log in your .ignition folder that might have some clues. Which Java popup are you referring to? If you are using Java Web Start to launch client, you might also want to try the native client launchers and see if they run any better.
