# Client Window Menubar

Using Ignition 7.9.8 I’ve configured the project properties to let the User Interface show the menubar. Running the client will not show the menubar. This is frustrating since I am really wanting the output console to help troubleshoot some scripting during runtime.

Some thoughts here:

- Did you save it? You probably did, but a sanity check never hurts.
- Did you try deleting the cache? (C:\Users\_username_\.ignition) Get a nice, fresh copy of the project.

Forgot to mention, you should be able to open the console by pressing Ctrl+Shift+F7.

I tried dieleting the cache,yes. While the key combo works for showing the diagnostics window, the menubar stays in its hidey-hole…
