Are the column container improvements still in the works? I love the concept but it's pretty difficult to move things around in its current state to say the least.

I believe the biggest problem is the inability to have empty rows. Everything breaks when you try to move a component to a new row if it's the only one in its current row. Development then becomes a game of moving a dummy components around to prevent this from happening.

I really think allowing empty rows would make the column container infinitely more user friendly. I'm not sure how difficult this would be to implement; I assume it was designed that way for a reason.

My sense is that Flex Containers are the future. Column containers were developed before they came out (and influenced their design).
